This was my first real 3D project. This was a point-of-sale display that we needed to show several different display situations. For reasons that I can't remember we were either unable or unwilling to shoot the actual balloon, so I was called on to build and render a 3D blimp and then composite it into the photos.

I built the model in MacroMind 3D, then imported it into Pixar's MacRenderMan where I added the decals and textures. The wrinkled, puckered seams were done with two displacement maps:

Below are the composites. The Blimp and the card hanging below it are both from MacRenderMan. The wrap around the bases of the coolers and the danglers on the shelves were done in Illustrator and Photoshop:
