Painting a frame for a painting by Isabel Manalo

The painting was too close to the color of my walls, and didn't have a frame, so I painted a frame on the wall.

In late 1969 I wrote a letter to Walt Disney Productions, suggesting that they should look at C.S. Lewis' "Chronicles of Narnia." I thought they would make good movies. Eventually, they wrote back.

I enjoy learning and tying knots. In 2003 I came up with some knots and bends that I hope are novel inventions.
Cherry Co-Sleeper Crib

I like woodworking, and have started building furniture using hand tools. My most elaborate creation so far is the cherry co-sleeper crib that I built for our daughter, Linnea.
Cooking

I really like baking pies, and feel that I've just about mastered the classic pie crust.
