A large puffball mushroom that I found and ate. It didn't have much flavor of its own, but the texture was like a light, delicate tofu. The best results came from spooning a marinade of olive oil, balsamic vinegar and garlic over it, and then tossing it on the grill for a couple of minutes per side. It came off looking like a grilled swordfish steak.

A simple and attractive solution for storing litter box waste. If you have a small bathroom that has to serve both small kids and cats, this will give the kids a stool to stand on, while keeping the cat droppings out of sight in a smell-proof container. (Line it with a plastic garbage bag.)

In late 1969 I wrote to Walt Disney Productions, suggesting that they should look at C.S. Lewis' "Chronicles of Narnia." I thought they would make good movies. This was Disney's reply.
