A large puffball mushroom that I found and ate. It didn't have much flavor of its own, but the texture was like a light, delicate tofu. The best results came from spooning a marinade of olive oil, balsamic vinegar and garlic over it, and then tossing it on the grill for a couple of minutes per side. It came off looking like a grilled swordfish steak.
