The site is currently being served from an ancient Mac Cube that almost never has to be restarted. It's running the Zope 2 Python-based framework for web applications, and uses Bootstrap, a kit of HTML, CSS, and Javascript that makes it easier to produce an elegant, handsome site.
The internet connection is basic cable modem service from Comcast. Because the connection uses DHCP, and my IP address can vary, I use DynDNS.org to maintain my domain's DNS entries.
I've intentionally kept this site light on graphic elements. Site graphics are built with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, and as is my habit, I use a lot of layers so that I can move things around and modify elements without disturbing the entire image.
